In the past there were some cross class skill options. I really miss that.
I always skilled my Paladin with raise. When I came back to the game after a break my raise was gone because they dumped down the system. I still feel robbed.

Not everyone was able to cross-skill raise but if I remember right then all tanks could.
And I also think that raise suits Paladin very well. : )

only paladin could, and even then, they could only raise out of combat. healers and arcanist got a trait that allowed them to raise during combat.
