I agree with all of these except for the part about AI-generated voiceovers. THAT is one of the worst ideas ever proposed on these forums, and that's saying a lot. I would sooner have NO voiceovers than have uncanny at best, robotic at worst AI garbage. What is wrong with you?

Something like this. Depending on race and gender it uses one of matching AI voices and voices the quest text. Like it's not intended for named characters. For the generic ones it's fine. You accept all quests in a hub and while going to the location you get all the VO and know what and why you just accepted from the side quests

They already made clear they won’t ever do serious ‘set bonuses’, either back in 2.0 or maybe around 3.0. Unfortunate, but I don’t think they have or will change their minds on this

Those set bonuses don't have to be "serious". Just something that makes the initial gear practical on launch and when leveling alt jobs. Right now leveling alt jobs gives you job set at 99 but quickly you hit 100 and the 100 gear is superior, the more the longer the expansion is out

I like the idea but I couldn’t imagine how this would be possible unless they have the ‘sub-roles’ a very small and simplistic skill set.

We already had some in like Stormblood where we controlled other scions. Like Urianger had almost-Astro abilities.
