May I also suggest in this Wukiest of games that no longer is there a WoL, instead they are Wuk but to throw a bone to players she could be renamed W☮L Lamat.

While they're at it, why not make the scions... heck... ALL NPCs be Wuk Lamat. That would solve the pesky problem of others sometimes getting a line or two of dialogue and taking the spotlight away from the real star!

Let her have her own game and her own stories without the assist of WoL and Scions. Let her shine like the main protagonist other RPG game. Maybe let name her game like Final Fantasy 17 : Rise of Wuk Lamat.

Honestly, I actually liked Wuk Lamat when she was introduced in 6.55... But how quickly that soured up in 7.0 lol. Before that I was wishing that Wuk Lamat didn't win the contest, so she'd get to be in other types of adventures with the WoL, but today I think it was a great thing that she is the ruler now, because there's way less excuses to use her as a main character again.

The solution is what was probably already set to happen : Aymeric / Lyse treatment.

Becoming a world leader and nearly disappearing from the plot after the x.3 patches with only some occasional cutscenes because her story is done.

I feel like a lot of this issue can be blamed on the EW patch story. The Zero/void story took up all five patches, so unlike previous expansions, the writers didn't have the x.4-5 patches to do all the initial setup for DT. The leveling MSQ had to spend waaaaaaay more time than usual covering the most basic of basics like "who are these people and why should we care?" In any other expansion most of that would have been covered beforehand.

Imagine if patch 2.4-5 never happened. If we never met Iceheart and learned about heretics, never met Midgarsormr, never learned about the Dragonsong War, never had Nidhogg call the dragons and everything at the Steps of Faith. Imagine if none of that setup was done, and instead it all had to be covered by the leveling MSQ before we could even start on the rest. That is what the DT writers had to deal with. Wuk Lamat had to be shoved in our faces every minute of DT because there just plain wasn't enough time for subtlety.
