There are several situations that can cause the error you are describing. Please try the following troubleshooting methods to resolve the issue:
- Update/reinstall your graphics card drivers (If applicable)
- Update your MacOS software/firmware
- Disable all programs/overlays running in the background (Found in Force Quit)
- Cap the frame-rate limit to 30 or 60 FPS within the game
- Lower the in-game graphics settings
- Make sure your anti-virus software has the appropriate exceptions for Final Fantasy XIV

Launching the Mac in Safe Mode: restart the Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key. The Apple logo should appear on your display. Release the Shift key when you see the login window. Then, please restart the computer once more.

Should the issue persist after attempting all the listed troubleshooting, we advise that you try reverting to a previous macOS version as it may have been more stable. We may suggest trying to revert back to the macOS Monterey 12.4 to see if it helps with the issue.
