>Bad UI<, Part 1, Aetherites, materia and Vendors.

I wanted to make a small series to show problems with the UI and hopefully improvements, since these are minor things but still annoying i dont expect too much attention .

However , things can always be improved:

Unclickable Aetherites.

When you are in a Party out in the world, for farming fates as an example, it is almost impossible to click on aetherites because the party members overlap the aetherite on the map, which makes it really annoying to teleport.

Materia Hides the Materia Stats:
When you Insert Materia into your gear, the Materia tooltip overlaps the Materia Values.
Example: the Materia hides the Direct Hit value

Buying items from a vendor, the tooltip gets in the way of the itemlist of the vendor, this depends on the position of the window, when the shop window is on the left side of the screen, the tooltip hides the vendors items.

Cant see the items below the tooltip of the item:

Agreed on aetherytes. They should sit on the top layer of the map, above things like quests and vendor icons.

The tooltip issue is easily fixed by just moving the menu if the default position doesn't work for you.

#1: Aetherytes can be put on top of any other map UI element by holding the ctrl key while the map is open.
#2 and #3: Item tool tips can be hidden by holding the alt key while hovering over the item. This applies everywhere (vendors, inventory, etc.).

This key can be customized (between Ctrl, Alt, and Shift) in

/characterconfig > UI Settings > General > Help ... Display item help ... Enable help text toggling ... Toggle Key (RT on gamepads).

The key used to hide the tooltip is written on the bottom of the tooltip even. Which these screenshot conveniently cut out.
