Why is it that years later still new gear does not work for all races? HATS-ON!

I mean...we KNOW its possible....so why do Hroth and Viera still not show NEW gear patch after patch? I mean that is honestly being lazy; I don't expect changes to happen retroactively....but we have had viera....and Hroth for years at this point and there is no good reason not to permit these 2 races to wear the majority of helmets; its not like it doesn't work technically and if the arguement is "it looks silly" I would point out folks in elephant costumes and bikini's and honestly there is plenty of gear that looks silly so give folks the option.

It is probably just laziness.

Considering the work has already been done, they could just implement it into the game .

I have chosen Viera and was disappointed that none of my hats could be worn, as I think it'd be cool if the ears poked out of some hats while being folded down for others.
I didn't care so much while playing as I just accepted that I would never bother with hats anymore, and most of them didn't look good anyways to me.
Now, a friend will message me saying to look at the hat they got, and I can't even do that unless they teleport to where I am to show me because I can't actually see the hat in it's tiny image when I hover over the link in chat.
It would be so nice if the ears would just disappear when wearing hats, at least until they figure out how to situate them properly.

100% true... at this point just let the ears clip through instead of doing nothing...

I actually had a little hope when I saw Wuk Lamat was wearing full head gear. It is entirely unacceptable that this hasn't been fixed by now.
