    I felt that some of 2.0 was inspired by star wars. Van Belsar looked and sounded like Vader. Garleans were pretty much the Imperials. The Ascians were the sith.

    Final Fantasy has always wore its Star Wars inspiration badge on its sleeve proudly. Players have frequently been a group of rebels fighting a powerful empire, and yes: Biggs and Wedge are named exactly after who you think they are.
