What do you think about Linkshell Tabards?

and i'd rather SE hire someone who can actually do tech support than someone who just looks at images all day for customization of tabards.

screening also takes more than 5 minutes. what are you basing your assumption on? are you in a legal department? do you screen copy rights for a living? less risk to make it non-uploadable. not going to happen.

I'm basing my assumption on how long it took to have a custom image screened on Aion... I don't know how I could have possibly said it anymore clearly...

Idk how it worked for Aion but it did and still does. Only takes them like 5 min to screen an image and that games even F2P now.

Also, I'm fairly certain that you are exaggerating the copy right issue. I'm under the impression that a company can only be liable for copyrighted content that it's users upload if the owner being infringed upon contacts said company asking them to remove it and they don't. That's the way youtube works for example, and it's not likely anyone would actually bother to contact SE over a linkshell image someone uploaded anyway, so we're arguing about a nonissue.

I'd much rather have Free Company capes with the FC's logo on them.

Like scarf capes that wrap around your neck and hang down the back of your shoulder like Loras Tyrell ♥ was wearing in Battle of Blackwater, or the normal big awesome flappy capes.

Or mayhaps I've been watching a bit too much Game of Thrones.

That would be neat. Maybe put that on Free company Officers. So they can't hide when you need permissions for mumble fixed. *tackles the guy with the big officer banner* "Saw ya a mile away, sucka!"

I am completely against this idea, and there are a lot of reason for it. The main reason that stands out is that FFXIV is takeing way to much from other games, and not taking enough from its own series. #2 I dont want to be forced to wear anything that I dont like (and we know how some linkshell leads can be). Now that is just the top 2 reason but I am not gonna sit here and type every reason.

as far as we can tell what the rep response tells us is you can imprint a FC logo onto armor, sounds like it is optional.
