Moonfire Faire Returns August 8th

The rewards for this event are super underwhelming. It's one of those events I'll probably do last min instead of week 1.

Wow another wonderful/ unique event from our beloved devs! Playing since ARR and never saw something like this before.

Yeah tbh they should just do away with all the annual events especially if I don't get a looped emote or a slutmog from it.

Isnt this just the emote they sell in the shop and a boring housing item? Underwhelming as usual. They could of given a nice beach/vacation outfits for the theme of the expansion.

They do rotate with the rewards each year.
So if the summer event last year was an outfit this year its a emote/furniture and next year probably a mount.

I always do want new swimwear, but I will absolutely enjoy that emote.

For some reason, the player base is perfectly okay with event items being available exactly once and then being moved to the cash shop forever more.

Even though it’d be absolutely trivial to put the rewards on the vendors that are there every year.

Bridging back items would make having repeatable content more viable, like the fates and repeatable quests. I've said many times "where's the faire?" You would think there would be more to do. I personally found most holiday fates to be fun, and there is nothing wrong with reusing those.

I'm not saying make it stupid grindy. They only add a few items each year anyways.
