It is really stupid that we have a variety of sliders but the gear ignores them, rather than trying to get more false options, we should be pushing for SE to make the options we have work. They have a variable character mesh, as evidenced by the height, bust and tail sliders, it shouldn't be too hard for them to map gear to the mesh instead of just overwriting it.

As further evidenced by the fact most of the races are technically stretched out Midlanders rather than truly unique models, honestly. They could do something with that system to give players more variety, methinks

This is why Viera's always looked really off in XIV. They always had very unique models/proportions beforehand but in XIV they're just another stretched out midlander body with none of the Viera charm smh.
