If you play a slim male bright skinned midlander you don't even have a belly button! I reported this as a bug because no other subrace has this problem. SE moved my bug report to the 'working as intended' section. ^^"

It's all so frustrating. I love this game so much. But I slowly drift away because they don't touch the true problems for so many years and there is nothing really interesting that hooks me.

Of course graphics look better than before. But let's be honest. Characters look still outdated for 2024. :/
Some textures on characters look even worse then before. And the quality of the races is so different. I also don't get why male characters are forced to have rougher skin and dryer lips than females.

Honestly, I don't care about their programming structure problems in the background. It's not my job to have understanding. I am their customer and I just rate what they release.

It's 'their' job to solve those problems. And if the games structure has such issues..., sorry but then SE has to invest more in their cashcow FF14 and rebuild the game from scratch with an additionally team. That's my honest personal opinion as a customer.

I love getting to choose between bust 0 (AAA cup) and bust 100 (A cup) for my au ra lady! Because as we all know, only tall women have breasts! /s

As a female Au Ra main who RPs the character as having a medical condition that makes her look incredibly malnourished (and the game not matching), I had the same question.

I mean, Final Fantasy XIV has the most body customization out of any MMO currently available, but it's only available on PC. Console players are just going to accept that their game will never have as many features as the PC version. Everything from combat to crafting, socializing, and (especially) customization is much better on PC since the game engine allows you to do anything you want. Square Enix likes this too, which is why they've never limited what you can do on PC. According to the forums, the majority of players would be negatively affected if Square Enix took away the PC-exclusive features. It's a core part of what makes Final Fantasy XIV what it is today.

The 'PC only' features are mods, which are not officially provided by FFXIV and are, in fact, prohibited. As a result, FFXIV does not offer the most customization options. In terms of customization, PSO2 far surpasses FFXIV. Housing is another area where PSO2 excels, but that is a separate discussion.

Now that we had the graphical update it's time for a character creator revamp. Different body types, more faces and horns desperate from faces and such.

It is really stupid that we have a variety of sliders but the gear ignores them, rather than trying to get more false options, we should be pushing for SE to make the options we have work. They have a variable character mesh, as evidenced by the height, bust and tail sliders, it shouldn't be too hard for them to map gear to the mesh instead of just overwriting it.
