You can always tell how much someone don't care about something by counting how many times they say they don't care. Mathematically the two variables are proven to be positive proportional.
It's almost like a way to gaslit yourself.
Because deep down inside they really do care. For instance, when we see someone making a thread about how they dislike the game and they're quitting, we see the "I don't care" posts all the time. The person posting "I don't care" doesn't necessarily care about the thread creator leaving, but instead they care about the negative feedback they left and how it's damaging to the game's reputation.
