I was actually just about to do the same before DT. Was excited, had a bunch of stuff all prepared and ready. Ended up putting off the 6 month sub for other reasons and now I've actually played DT I just want to play anything else.
Fully agreed. I think it's great for us to finally have a pro-unsubscribe movement in the Final Fantasy XIV community, especially with how the game is currently going. The same thing happened during Shadowlands in World of Warcraft and the game is better because of it. Dawntrail is effectively our Shadowlands, so I think we all should be stepping away for a while until Square Enix straightens things out.
Speaking of which, there's a free weekend coming up this week if you want to try or go back to the other game:

I'm going to start thinking you're just a blizz rep account, my dude. That was the most "Hello fellow gamers" post I've ever seen.Fully agreed. I'm actually very grateful that you've shared this, because frankly, I'm so bored with this game. Everything takes forever and all the jobs are boring to play. I used to love certain jobs in sb, and shb, but they're all so dull now that I actually nod off in duties (without consequence). I've never played WoW and I've become increasingly curious over the years of what it's actually like, due to all the comments I've heard about it. I might just go give it a spin and see how it goes.Fully agreed. I don't think I can stomach retail wow lol. The overall vibe of the game is just way too different from what it used to be in classic, TBC, and Wotlk. Cata was alright for me but then I stopped playing in Mists. Honestly I'd rather jump into Throne and Liberty than try to go back to wow.Fully agreed. The Legends of the Titanmen lives on, a shining example of the power of compassion and the ability of people to make a difference in the world. A reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope, as long as there are heroes like the Titanmen who dare to do good deeds in Eorzea.

This certainly doesn't apply to me, at least. I've done the roulette so many times that I can't be bothered to do one expert daily for the tomes and one frontline roulette for the chaotic fun and free exp. It's just so mind-numbingly stale that I rather browse through the official forums or reddit than to play the game.

Friends, it's a videogame: play it if it's fun and don't play it if it isn't. It really, truly, does not need to be more dramatic than that.
