I'm sorry but, I have to disagree. They fixed the problem. Dark places are actually dark, placed lighting looks fantastic. You can actually make a place look atmospheric now. My apartment and cottage went from being good in Endwalker, to okay in 7.0, and now Great in 7.05. Give yourself time to adjust and you'll really come to like it. ^^

I disagree. The lighting in my house is now considerably better than it was yesterday. Dark areas are actually dark and placed lighting isn't washed out.

So...your issue is that lighting is worse because level 5 was made a bit brighter, while the stratification between the levels was improved so darker settings are actually darker, meaning lighting is "worse" because it inconvenienced you for literally all of one moment the very first time you walked in until you just changed the level, which is now better for the rest of the entire patch?
The lighting looks better, but how is the performance worse if they "fixed" lighting issues? I've got 10 fps less in multiple houses I tried before and after the update...
