Data Center Travel Issue

First post here unfortunately.

I am stuck in limbo as well. This has been going on for an hour now for many of the people in my static, and our raid time is in an hour and we not only can't raid but can't play the game at all for those who tried to travel.

This is disgraceful. Devs, please fix this ASAP.

After initiating the data center transfer, I received the message "World data could not be obtained. Please try logging in later." and error code 2021. Then the game completely closed out. Now the moment I hit "Start" it gives me the message "Your character is traveling between data centers. Please wait until they have reached their destination. Estimated Travel Time: Unknown. Servers are currently congested." And then eventually crashes again with the "World data could not be obtained. Please try logging in later." I've tried re-selecting my home data center prior to hitting start and it pops up the same message. I have tried selecting a different data center prior to hitting start and it pops up the same message.

Basically, I'm completely locked out of the game. Can't even switch to an alternate character on another dc or anything.

After I was able to log in to other characters, I then performed some things I wanted to do on those. I could then log in the Kujata character on Sophia. However, when logging out and attempting to Return to Home World (and to drink beer and never think on this again), I received an error message:

"Unable to return to Home World. Please wait before submitting another request via the subcommand menu. [502]"

Im stuck traveling from Chaos - Moogle to Light - Shiva.
Like others i am in transfer Limbo.

Update: After many crashed i reached my destination.

How long did it takes to reached the destination finally?

Just coming to add I am in the same situation trying to get back home to Aether from Dynamis. Several static members trying to get to Aether and/or Crystal have the same issue.

I like to give the devs the benefit of the doubt as often as I can, but today I cannot do that.
This implementation is objectively awful.

I've been stuck transferring from Aether to Dynamis for almost an hour. It gives me Estimated Time: Unknown for like 10 minutes before it closes the client with 2021. I've been trying quite a few times now. My group is now late for raid, and it's affect a couple others in my group as well.
