Question, why not use one of the couple of current, active threads instead of bumping one that has been dead for over a month?

Because two weeks is not a month and those threads are discussing different issues. I'm talking about DC travel restrictions, I would be fine staying on Dynamis if restrictions were lifted, other threads are talking about party finder and population issues.
