Since the queues were awfully long, people just DC travelled making the problem even worse and the DC never had the chance to build a community to fill df/pf.

SE should work on making PF/DF regional. It’s the only way to solve the annoying issue of people converging to a single DC and having near empty PF on other DCs (DF remained healthy of Primal).
Yeah, this is 100% the problem. They also didn't lock down the other datacenters when it launched to funnel all new players/characters to it. If they really wanted Dynamis to fill they shouldn't have let people make characters on other datacenters for a good long while.

They could have also considered doing what they did for the great Aether/Primal sundering where some servers were sent to Crystal along with the new ones. Servers like Balmung and Mateus being pulled off Aether allowed Crystal to naturally grow and thrive very quickly. It wouldn't have been ideal, but it's something that could have been done.

Yeah we are way past that now, the big problem is that they are trying to populate Dynamis still now after the patch but are actually making Dynamis worse (and making people leave Dynamis)

This is going to go agaisnt their plans, the people that were already on dyna before the patch and are still unable to DC travel, have statics on other dcs or even friends, will move away, just like I did, while the ones that moved while DC travel was down will leave the minute their 3 months of being stuck there are up.

This is not going to work the way people (and SE) think it will. This is damaging the DC and will continue to do so until reverted, people wont travel there with the risk of being stuck on it.

10 Pf's right now on Dynamis for end-game content, good job SE. This one is on yall, not the players.

10 pf's at 9:30am-12:30pm for US. Dynamis had 40-60 PF's for Savage yesterday night. And you're forgetting, you can only go where Square lets you go. You're not moving anywhere unless Square wants you to. It doesn't matter how much you hate Dynamis and want to move to Aether, home world transfer and new character creation isn't available. You will only move somewhere with Square's permission because they control that.

I literally moved to Mateus the second transfer opened on patch day, and world transfer is still open to this day, only dc travel is a problem.

As for aether yeah you cant world transfer, but any other DC is better than Dynamis, more than happy to have moved.

Also if they cant make Dynamis work, then move the worlds around to existing dcs, they did in the past, now is the time for it, blocking DC travel is forcing people to transfer to other more alive DC's, not keep people there.

World transfer in the mog station IS open to all of the worlds in green on the official server status page https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/worldstatus/

At best, they'd swap worlds and take say Gilgamesh/Balmung and move them to Dynamis and swap them for say Maduin/Marilith, and all that would do is make people swap off in some cases. If you're allowed to move to a world, it's because Square is fine with you moving there. They've kept Balmung congested for 6+ months in the past, they've kept the entire Mana Data Center congested for almost a year. Square doesn't function under an entitlement to open a given world or Data Center after a certain period of time. As of rn, all of Aether is gone, but so is half of Crystal and half of Primal. And if people exodus from Dynamis to that remaining half, Square is just going to lock those as well. Aether historically was never fully congested like Mana was, they always had 2-3 worlds open but decided to x the entire thing. Crystal and Primal will get locked as well if it comes to that, or they'll just x travel period other than Dynamis.

I also have no idea what you mean by more alive DC's because I don't think you were here when Dynamis launched. I've been on Hali since Day 1. We had no casual pvp queue, at all, even in prime hours. I could literally queue up my alts, and barely find 2-4 people queue'd for Crystalline Conflict at any time of the day. Ranked PvP was so dead that it only happened for the first few days of a 3+ month season outside of when a pvp discord hosted an event. I'd go to Limsa and barely see 10 people. I'd look in PF, and I'd see roleplay PF's tripling PvE content because PvE was always less than 5 PF's even at night. You were expected to go to other data centers for roulette's and MSQ content. Now I can go to Limsa and see 40+ people. Now I can run my roulette's past midnight, including alliance raids. Now I can queue Crystalline Conflict throughout the day for series xp on Dynamis. Now I can queue MSQ content on Dynamis. For 2 years, our content didn't exist at all. So you complaining about 10 PF's in the morning, when that was double prime time PF's FOR YEARS, sounds extremely ungrateful for a data center that's been alive for basically only 1 month. For Dynamis to be functionally 1 month old, and to have half the PF'sduring prime hours for savage as Primal, that's half a decade+ old, is wild in itself. You over here talking like Dynamis is about to die, and this is the first sign of life IN YEARS that it's had. You don't sound like a Dynamis native at all.

I really dont think we'll agree in any case, you think that this will help, I do not, agree to disagree really, time will tell.
