[Feedback] Data Center Travel Changes

Thank you to everyone who's posted their feedback about the DC travel changes! It's been nice to see what so many other people have to say, and I'm hopeful that this can continue being a place where people share their thoughts about this topic.

I will say that with the way the system works now, not only is it hard to bring my Dynamis character anywhere other than Dynamis, I've also become pretty wary of bringing my Aether character anywhere other than Aether. I don't want him to be unable to return home. After launch, even when the servers were more restricted, that wasn't much of a problem for me. I knew the system was stable enough that I could bring him to Dynamis when Aether was crowded and then send him home without any trouble when things calmed down. And I did so, several times! Without that assurance I feel as though it's smarter to stay put. I feel less inclined to "spread out" than I did before. Now that I've seen others worried about the same, my suspicion is that Dynamis is going to see less visitors after this change, not more.

This is exactly the case for me as well. I was using Dynamis as the way around cross-DC travel being mostly shut off during DT launch. It was how I kept seeing my cross-DC friends. Now, even that is gone, or might as well be.

I'm honestly in full agreement-and this is from a Dynamis native that would like to see the server flourish. The main reason I was on other servers was for RP purposes. If all my RP friends were on Dynamis I'd have stayed there. But alas, they are not. They're on Crystal and Primal, about 90/10 proportion wise. That's literally all I want is to go see them and RP in their player houses. Please Sqenix, let us do just that.

I actually liked the idea of Dyanmis being a "borderlands" where all the servers could visit at the start of DT; so much that I made a alt and leveled him up to set up a meeting place on Kraken.

While that is a good point and can work for some situation, it can't work for others, say, certain RP groups that use player housing as their settings.
