This guy doesn't know who Roe Fizzlebeef is.

So they're no one important or worth listening to because they're definitely not in the RP community.

Considering a quick search landed me with Roe and some other random trying to use their twitter to flood the forums and get people to hate me (typical rp community acting holier than though while calling for people to be harassed and mocked in the background where they think they can't be seen), and barely 3-5 people joined the thread, none of the retweets I see have venue owners in their title, my discord DM's haven't been blown up yet on any of my accounts, i can't find any event hosting referenced on their twitter, FC is a small house with 13 members (3 of which are alts), all I can find from google is some calender of 1-3 word topics put out for art and pictures, not looking overwhelmingly too strong for them being some monolith in the community I'm unaware of. I have names of partners and other venues I was with, I still have videos of my openings and collabs that were packed out. Am I the only person expected to put out receipts of actually being involved in events? Or are we just going to go quiet when it comes to proving who has more connections in the venue/rp community to know how things work behind the scenes.

Any hardcore roleplayer is not about to quit over a world inconvenience/house. You not about to uninstall and go 3 years without roleplay over no 10-25mil and making an alt. You want to give up years of writing, story, and friendships over less than a week of work, you never part of the community to begin with.

Get over yourself get over yourself!! Why are you trying to one up yourself to everyone on this forum by saying "Oh, I knew venue owners back in 2019!" or "I'm a landlord in an MMO and own an entire housing district" when all the stuff you're saying is literal loser stuff! Like, why would anyone care about how much gil you have. Nobody CARES! Nobody is impressed!! Not a single person has gone "Oh wow that's cool. Wow, you're a real cool Gamer. You're real cool for having so much gil and properties that don't translate into anything worth realistic monetary value." We just want to play with our friends!!
I don't know why you're acting like you're involved in the RP community and events when I don't see you or your 24+ service accounts that you paid $1000 to play on (Absolutely Wild) at any events, in any discords, or even out and about roleplaying with people in the wild! Not everyone has as much free time as you (god forbid people have a life outside of this game) to level up an entirely new character to roleplay on, on multiple servers just so they can RP with their friends on a different data center. Not everyone wants to pay money for a level skip either.

There are people in this thread that have been pillars to the RP community as of late, and have contributed more than you have, and I know that for a fact. The fact that you don't even recognize who's who says enough, even though you're acting like you know what happens in every little community in this game. None of the people here are talking about DJ night club venues when they talk about RP venues. They're talking about actual, in-game, overworld RP.

DC travel opened up a lot of opportunities for people that otherwise wouldn't have gotten involved in RP because there weren't as many events or meeting places on their server or just didn't know it was a thing in general. The way things are messes up the past few years of hard community building, so of course people can't help but be frustrated and feel demotivated.

You are not contributing anything useful to this conversation. You are just talking down to people for wanting to hang out and play with their friends on other servers. You should go back to making videos about venue drama nobody cares about, or make actual friends and talk to people that aren't your 108 twitter bot followers. I don't know, man.

It's poorly thought out. I'm a Crystal native and I can't visit Balmung except during off off times. It was fine, virtually no queue, during launch. Is this really just out of DC people afking on Balmung to the point of locking Crystal residents out? We can't do hunts, check MB, visit friends, etc, etc. If they're hard set on keeping this godawful implementation, they should at least prioritize people from the DC the world is on.

Easy answer at least in my case: Allow us to transfer our 1 man 11 year old FC to any server we want to be on just like WoW and the other MMOs - Hell SWTOR does it with gusto and that damn thing barely has the same kind of funding as Squeenix =\
