I think they just have it set to where if there's any queue at all you can't visit. Someone in my static was trying to come to Cactuar from Primal and we had a 15 person queue but it wouldn't let him into the world. I'm pretty sure the servers can handle more than 15 additional people.

Login queue includes everyone whether native or foreign attempting to log in. However, there is a traveler cap and a visitor cap that is separate from the login queue. Once there are too many travelers or vistors on a given world, regardless of the queue to log in, it won't let anyone besides native onto that world. They have to wait for a traveler or a visitor to log out/return home/visit another world before someone else is let in.

Buddy, with all due respect, trying to chime in on behalf of the entire FFXIV RP community because you USED to run a venue and you USED to be friends with venue owners, while also saying that it’s good if smaller less-established communities get killed off actually because who cares— this is not the killer argument that you think it is.

All you’ve established in this thread so far is that you own way too many housing plots and that you’re extremely out of touch. I would politely suggest logging off.

And this is how I know you fell into a community that didn't contribute anything and only opened for clout, when you have to make up things that were never said. Someone else in the thread already stated what I did.

In the end, we’ll survive, and roleplay will happen.

Any hardcore roleplayer is not about to quit over a world inconvenience/house. You not about to uninstall and go 3 years without roleplay over no 10-25mil and making an alt. You want to give up years of writing, story, and friendships over less than a week of work, you never part of the community to begin with. Expanding to be a giant conglomeration is dead. Opening just to be an opening is dead. Being a useless clone is dead, but roleplay is not dead. You're just mad I don't play current venue owner politics and talk nicely about the community in public while knowing and talking about the underlying issues in DM's with people you trust. There is no venue owner that has seen the scene for 3+ years can tell you with a straight face that no section of the community is hurtful and deserves to die.

And for the record, this set of houses, is not "way too many". It's a project of buildings that I started years ago after talking to a bunch of people that were underrepresented in the venue scene. While a few are my own buildings to bring back, a large chunk (75%+) are for roleplay demographics that don't have a consistent home or a set of housing for their idea situation. That don't have access to high tier decorators, that don't have access to advertising, that don't have friends on and time to scout across data regions to find other people interested in the same thing as them. One big note being Garleans. For GPose concepts that are not advertised anymore or not currently existing, including 90 room studios so people don't have to hop worlds and data centers/regions and have characters leveled all over the place just to take a picture. A place where studios from other regions can be applied on NA that would take hundreds of millions as well as a trashload of alts to replicate, and would require that you have friends on EU, JP to begin with, that you have sources and communication with people from the KR servers because you can't go there directly. If I open a building, it's either 1) because that building does not exist already in the capacity I plan to make it, 2) I already know and have spoken to people who would use it because they don't have a place currently and often have to rely on open world that's limited in the themes and plots they can have, or 3) This is something 99% of the community can't create even if they wanted to because the majority of the few billionaires in the community either have their hands tied to several hundred mil a month sponsoring a venue behind the scenes or are pissed off at drama and no longer feel like financially supporting the community because a decent enough section are ungrateful. On a personal level, I know at least 8 that fall into either of those categories. Now if you know, mmm, let's say 10+ billionaires in the community for it to be someone I don't know, that can take some of these concepts/demands off my hands and are willing to dump that for free without gil over time or authority in return, let me know.

Sorry, but who are you again? I couldn't hear it over how many times you keep trying to justify your empty houses have vaule and worth to a rp community that clearly doesn't know jack all about you? Is this derailment, yes, but this kinda attitude you've been showing is not indicative of the roleplay community currently thriving but frustrated with the dc changes.

I apologize that something happened to you that's made you into whatever it is you are today, but being like this is not helping anyone most of all yourself.

While we can get in a internet grandstanding contest it doesn't exactly matter in the end. What I am currently doing, is something I've been doing since 1.0 on Besaid until now.

The thing about community work, is that we work as a community. Which seems to be something you're not understanding here.

While I've run venues that are still going. I have more so grown with the trends/time and love of the community, I frankly put more effort into the actual community of people and give back my time, effort and knowledge as well as my housing spaces, gil, decor, event running skills and etc for people starting up or in need of assistance. Because more recently half their venue staff can't make it due to, DC Travel. Which the way the currently restrictions are are 100% an issue and annoyance for this. And put a hamper in the creative community spaces and venue growth.

You're not really contributing much to anything here, both in the community, the game or this forum post. And i'm very sorry you clearly seem to conflating your worth to your ingame money/housing and ability to have multiple alts also with money/housing. I feel you could be worth more if you weren't whatever this is for you.
