I really hope future content involves more than one tank.

With Paladin as my main and all my time, crafting, and money going into it I barely have enough to hold up my second job, Dragoon, for content that I'm just not allowed tank.

I do have Dragoon geared, and I enjoy DDing as it often enough, but I just feel like there aren't enough tank spots open in an 8 person party, and too many tanks filling that one spot that IS open.

Now I'm not greedy. I don't mind switch tanking with someone else. I don't mind letting new tanks get experience on something smaller, like Ifrit, for example. I completely understand that I'm not the only person who has invested time or money into their job and can't play it.

But I sincerely hope 2.0 brings us content that involves multiple tank spots and a need for multiple tanks. Obviously with the 24-person content it would be pretty necessary, but I also hope 8-man content can help establish a need for two brick walls.

That way we can all enjoy the job we love to play.

2.0 is said to bring about alliances of some kind (I never played FFXI so I have no idea what this is), and this should alleviate your concern since the idea is more than 1 group which thus opens up at the very least 2 tanking positions. Perhaps the Dev's will expand on this and add more stuff for multiple tanks

We've been bringing two tanks into Locke's Lie, it works quite well. We've brought a PLD in there with us too, which works if your PLD can really step up the DPS.
