This adds to the many clear disadvantages associated with world travel or being off the data center, such as having no retainers, no free company chat, likely no novice network, and no access to their linkshells, among others. Forcing people into these circumstances is something I cannot condone.

How does it add to it? On the contrary, GC items are one of the things that a player can carry around and use everywhere, not just on their homeworld plus it’s level 3. I agree that the other restrictions are annoying but when it’s a full static it’s a non issue. It become an issue when you pug as you end up waiting and waiting with nothing else to do. The only long term solution would be for SE to work on regional cross DC PF and DF .

I meant that their reasonings are in addition to the things i mentioned. But I can't speak to what content they do or don't do, or make them do it. If they have those items, or the capable squadron, then I can only suggest it. However, they don't want to deal with 20 min queue times just to get me, when they can get another person to fill in without hassle. They are entitled to have their reasons for their actions and I don't have the right to tell them what to do. I personally wouldn't want to do it either, if I were in their shoes. This situation shouldn't even be happening. I do agree 100% cross dc party finder is long overdue, but id say it should be region locked for sure. Someone from OC joining a savage prog in NA would just be a guaranteed wipe.

Dynamis should not exist for people to transfer there just to get a house and then spend the rest of their time on other DCs. If you make a character there you need to be compelled to support that community.

I never wanted to be there in the first place, but Aether was locked down. People going there for a house is silly, but understandable to an extent because of how poorly housing was implemented. However, being off world all the time is absurd since you miss out on fc perks, retainers, etc.

Aether is ONLY locked from making a character on peak hours...you can EASILY wait till later at night or early in morning and make one so that excuse doesn't fly.

Wrong! At the time, players couldn't create characters anywhere on any data center outside of Dynamis! This was not a temporary restriction due to online player capacity, but a complete lockdown until further notice, as they do very frequently.

Strangely enough, when I made my main, I made her on Cactuar and it was congested at the time. Maybe it used to be locked only at peak hours and was now (or at some point since I created her) changed to locked, period? Not totally sure.

This is completely wrong. Aether is perma locked until they decide otherwise. I work overnight shifts, so I'm on from 10pm EST until 7am EST. It's locked the entire time.

Aether and Crystal were locked down very hard, I have a friend that had to make on Dynamis so we could use DC travel and still play together. This isn't going to fly.
