Even then it's not, Sage despite being a barrier healer and AST handles situations way better than WHM could ever dream to.
Now if you're talking about sitting down and spamming Cure III then you have a point, but not even Ultimate requires that, and when content does require that much healing they'll just buff the other healers to match the need instead of letting WHM shine for once.

I do infact mean generally that. I'm fairly certain that WHM can outheal the other healers, but as you noted, nothing really needs that much healing done.
