It's been a while....

I've been keeping tabs on this game since January, even though I played during launch. I started playing a bit back in Jan and Feb and got my old character up to nearly 40, but then another game distracted me and I disabled my account until now. I figured with 2.0 looming in the near future now would be a good time to give it another shot. I'm really liking it so far, but I'm a little confused and need some help on some of the changes.

1) Is stats distribution per job or universal? I wanted to get CON up to 18 for Raise and then level GLD to unlock PLD, but I didn't want to place stats for a CON that would interfere with my PLD.

2) Is there a cap on rested XP?

3) Are there any good guides (besides the class forums) where I can read up on GLD and PLD?

First of i would like to welcome to back to the game hope you are enjoying the game a lot more than before...

1. each jobs has its own stats for PLD ~ MND & STR is what u want for more damage or VIT + DEX for better Tanking... CON 2 main points are MND & PIE...

2. Yes there is a cap but it will take about 1 week of you not playing and beening in you're inn to cap it.

3. there are loads of great guides for PLD & GLD most of them are on these forums themself not many out there on other sites. Plus at least here it a lot safer than looking at other sites and taking a chance of a keylogger.

Actually, you'll want MND and VIT for CNJ / WHM. MND for healing magic potency (and magic accuracy) and VIT for enhancing magic potency.

Some of us are silly and like the extra enfeebling potency and MP. Or we just went by what the chart said! :P
