Aether still down for World Transfer after maintenance

Crystal and Primal both got opened, yet if you have friends on Aether or family, you still cant join them by transferring or creating a character there, all that for the sake of a congestion that doesn't exist.

Patch 7.05 will introduce new regulations based on World classifications to promote the even distribution of players across our Worlds.

They don't want players dogpiling onto a single data center going forward. Even if they never acknowledged the problem for NA and EU, they admitted it existed for the JP worlds and that they were going to try to find a way to discourage it. This seems to be what they came up with.

People can play together - that's what data center travel is for.

People can be in FCs together but it means choosing a lower population world instead of a higher population world.

An entire FC shouldnt have to move to dynamis because someone wants to join them down the line, also your point doesnt sound right considering in the case of Aether it seems like the entire DC is closed for char creation at the very least and world transfer

I don't think there's really any solution to this. Servers have a limited capacity and they gotta space players out somehow. The DC travel is the best bet to let people play together while keeping the population SOMEWHAT spread out.

You don't care about traveling to Aether on savage release day because of any family and friends. Please be honest. And if your "family and friends" care about playing with you, then they will travel to another DC to do so.

I was not expecting to be able to transfer anywhere at all. So aether being locked ... :shockedpikachu: its whatever. Ill just dc travel now that they finally opened the doors 3 weeks later than was needed
