Other arguments for this change are:
- Starcross is literally our only jump that with less than a 15 yalm range
- Viper got several aoe skills changed from 3 to 5 yalms one patch ago
To make matters worse, we do not double weave with Stardiver, so you can't even quickly land Starcross when you dive.

If Stardiver animation lock was low enough to allow a Starcross weave, it would make absolute sense.

At least make it 10y to put in line with our GCD AoE (20y as all the other jumps would be ideal though!)
