At this rate I do not have a lot of faith on them delivering on a job redesign / making jobs interesting or what not in 8.0. The idea of "making jobs simple and fights complex" has many issues because:
- Simple jobs really show when fights aren't complex or well done, which means the onus is on making every fight interesting. A complex job can reduce the disappointment from an uninteresting fight and the inverse is true as seen with many fights from last expansion (P1S, P6S, P11S, Rubicante, etc).
- All of the content from before that was designed with more complex jobs is now much more boring / less challenging, though I would say this mostly applies to ultimates since not many people are doing savages synced.
