I've always been a big fan of timers that matter. Even if they can be challenging at times, players that want to display mastery on their job can get a lot of value out of having short timers in their kit, or tight refreshes, which was a core part of viper's design. As of these changes, lengthening these timers make them a cosmetic part of the job more than one you'd be rewarded for understanding. And that's a damn shame. Some jobs can be streamlined experiences, but viper doesn't need to be one of them, and I think this ultimately does not stand to benefit the players that wouldn't care about a buff falling off that much. I doubt they'd notice much either way. Conversely, for a person that cares a lot, you're culling so much meaningful depth for the job haphazardly.
