Certain FF songs I think should be the Country Roads treatment. That is to say, change the lyrics somewhat to better match Japanese.

In the case of Endwalker, a lot of the lyrics utilize the Expansion’s name in ways that may or may not match.

This chunk:

Rises on a land reborn from the ashes. —ARR
'Neath the heavens' —HW
To sunset blood-red skies, tranquil after the storm —SB
Blessed shadow —ShB

Whereas the Japanese use the English title in katakana, plus a subtitle (like Crimson Liberator for SB)

When my wife first heard “close the distance” she didn’t catch the Expansion references, and was more curious about why “red” was mentioned but not the other expansion colors as is the Japanese subtitle theme (Blue, Red, Black, Platinum, now Gold). She then was surprised the English titles had no subtitle.

Of note, the 5 colors thus far are very Feng Shui.
