so, when I just battled Suzaku (Unreal) with the arrow and orb transition phase mechanic, I had an idea: What about using this concept of the arrows and the orbs as some sort of GATE? The mechanic exists, it is fun and barely using it again would be a waste.

Obviously it would require some audio effect for the direction the arrow it is pointing at to make it accessible for people with visual impairments, but considering how audio signals are often used for various mechanics already, this shouldn't be a problem. (Maybe just use the regular arrow spawn sound not as general arena wide sound but located at the tip of the arrow or so?)

If you use just the arrows and orb for a single player, or make it a team effort like it's in the fight... I don't have preferences, I can see both be fun, but I could assume if a person gets e.g. less MGP or so due to another person playing less good, some people might get angry as a result. So if make it a group thing where people have to dance on all petals of the flower, make sure you don't punish people of different skill levels.
