Throwing my hat into this ring. It's honestly depressing to look at Thancred now. All the Scions look like they've had botched facial surgery, but his definitely looks the most botched of all.

Agreed. ALL of our characters look like uncanny valley versions of themselves, but Thancred is the worst of all of them. Poor guy

Recalled this thread when I played my alt's CT raid questline. Gods, in-game model of Doga vs CUTSCENE-model of Doga was a day & night difference. This also happens to other older cutscene models. How I miss the old models available to us by default...

I took a LONG break and only recently (briefly, to be honest, given the State Of Things) returned. I was so long going through ARR the first time I forgot who Thancred was during the final-battle reveal ^^; I did get to know him a bit more since then, but... when I started attempting to pick up the MSQ in EW with a friend after being unsubbed for several months (just about half a year) I had a "WHAT THE HECK WHO IS THIS" moment. It's..... really not... not good :x Give the poor man back his face. He's had a hard enough time as it is, he deserves to at LEAST have his dang FACE ;n;

This is due to Thancred being given the default Midlander face, removing all of his unique features - so it's no wonder they look the same!

Thank you so much to everyone bumping this thread (Happy Thancred Day for yesterday, by the way!) I'll continue to keep this thread alive if we don't hear anything after the release of 7.2, as I won't give up!
