Thancred's new face

I see, I probably do focus too much on the eyes. That being said, weren't the facial features of his character, that he had previously, also standardized to how his race looked before the update? Or did he have a unique face, unlike any other Hyur? It would look odd, if he was the only male hyur, that was still low-res in terms of textures and he would look out of place next to other members of his race, if he remained unchanged, or?
