Not that it wasn't prominent, you can see it on his previous model, but the shaders weren't decent enough to show it well with the old lighting engine, but
Hey, SE... The philtrum is supposed to line up with the little peaks of the upper lip. Thancred's philtrum, and cupid's bow is on the wider side and his new philtrum is now too narrow for his lip shape.


What's going on here??

I know… the philtrum is such a big problem on the Hyur races especially. Even if they hadn’t changed the eyes and mouths, the overly prominent philtrum is just adding to the eery look so many are complaining about.

The folds around the eyes also became bizarrely pronounced. You can tell from those shots of Thancred's face that something's off with that region, and then you zoom in and realize how weirdly detailed it all is compared to most of his other features. That also extends to other faces and other races.

Dawntrail Botox Sad to report it got my Midlander too. He looks exactly the same as Thancred now. I laugh, but it's actually sad.

This is due to Thancred being given the default Midlander face, removing all of his unique features - so it's no wonder they look the same!

Thank you so much to everyone bumping this thread (Happy Thancred Day for yesterday, by the way!) I'll continue to keep this thread alive if we don't hear anything after the release of 7.2, as I won't give up!

I was really hopeful with 7.2 graphical updates but nothing has changed. Why aren’t they listening?
