I have said it in the past, wuk shouldn't be killed off but rather just be completely dropped from the story to be never mentioned again.

wuk is a very busy person, with many tacos to eat while having everyone else solve all the problems. Shouldn't force her away from that.

I agree with the MSQ design overall and the false marketing around it, but Wuk Lamat herself is a mix bag. I strongly believe she could have been a truly good character if not for the convenience of a bad MSQ, a weak overall plot, and her place within all of it.

However, for the sake of the story's future, I agree she needs to be put on the side. She's a queen now; she has to deal with that responsibility and can't stay with us forever. The same goes for the Scions. I do not want these characters to follow us around like lapdogs once their story arcs are truly over.

The story with Wuk would have been better if we were hired to be her mentor, teacher, and trainer where we intentionally stand back to let her try to do content and only intervene when things go bad. Then the WoL being not the main character would have been easier to deal with. Having her have mixed successes with some failures, especially the death of her father by her failing to save him and doing something that prevented us from helping save him. That would have hit really hard and made for a good redemption arc in Alexandria.

But that wasn't done and instead we got a Mary Sue.

The devs wanted us to like her, we could have liked her but the story we were given with her in it was a total disaster.
