I don't think anyone has used the resource section, but tbf most people straight up ignore the first post and just read the title and then come into the thread to complain, which outs out their stupidity at least. JP doesn't know about Wuk's word/line count.

They are really just talking about the same things as here with the same opinion more or less.

I take the YoshiP argument with a grain of salt without citations. The japanese can be pretty quick with blaming overseas and vice versa.
I wouldn’t say though that it’s impossible for him or others to do that but I don’t think so personally.

Honestly it will be interesting in the near future how they will handle that huge feedback and I am glad the Japanese side seems to also think like here this time at last from what I saw.

That's the best way to do it. I'm just giving a second hand account on a bad google translation. I don't know of anyone contacting JP people, so IDK how we get news out of them.

I think the translation is better if you grab the text and paste it into google translate instead of using on page translation, but I don't read japanese so thats how I got my info. IDK how to navigate 2chblog as well so yeah, sorry if there's any misinformation.

Yeah the chan boards are quite outdated and annoying to use.

As far as i can see they find this thread quite amusing and for a change like how direct it is.
They also seem to be unsure if Yoshida even knows about the feedback.

Some of the feedback is so unhinged it's quite amusing.
Examples:

"Development assumption: Player: "Ukuramato has arrived! Amazing! Awesome!"
Reality: Player: "Huh?""

"It's rare to see a character that's hated this much.
Hats off to the story team. I
think she'll have to be removed like Minfilia."

"As expected of a foreigner... He always tells me straight out
that he doesn't like something. It's crazy that Square Enix's usual "Very popular overseas!" thing doesn't work at all this time lol"

"Do I have to talk to this creepy creature 139 times every time I raise a sub? I
'll pay you to let me skip it."

Other comments are rather... let's call them not nice to foreigners.

Much love mate, I think that Square enix comment might be the comment about YoshiP that I might've flubbed on so I'm going to change that in the original post to correct my mistake. I remember reading a funny post about how a dude used his paid vacation on this game, and I think it was all he got was Wuk Lamat.

Yeah it's known that JP is not that nice to foreigners, but tbh since we had crappy people over there I would understand why. The people taking picture of the Geishas()? and thus they're now enacting a law or something so foreigners can't go xyz, the Jake Paul incident with the forest of death, and then Jonny Somali antagonizing the people as well. The west has not been conducting themselves well in Japan from what I've seen.

(In the MSQ objectives for Dawntrail, you're supposed to have about 139 conversations with Llama'ti, compared to 48 with Erinville, 16 with Krile, 4 single-player duties, defeat 17 monsters, and clear 9 dungeons/trials. It's so ridiculous, I can't help but laugh.)
