I think it was good if you can separate FF9 the game from how it's referenced here.

Of course you can always find little things to nitpick, such as Wuk Lamat jumping off the balcony like it's a safe height or not using a megaphone/horn so that everyone could hear her, but endlessly nitpicking what they've worked hard on and put their hearts and souls into (literally in this case?) instead of just enjoying it... I mean, if people find it fun to not enjoy stuff for what is, then I guess that's up to them but I'd rather just focus on enjoying things.

I don't know which track that is but I did feel the use of tracks from other expansions wasn't good. Don't get me wrong, I can see the perspective that "they have all these old tracks and they should make use of them all". But keeping exclusively to tracks made for that expansion has always kept it fresh for me and they seem to have tried to use old tracks sometimes and it didn't always feel like it fit.

There are waaaaay bigger problems than that.

Also--real talk, the jumping off a balcony isn't even a valid complaint. Plenty of other characters including the WoL have had their experiences with terminal velocity like it ain't no thing.

I don't like that we do it in dungeons sometimes either. But they could at least try. She's not a dragoon and having her swing on a rope or be caught by the people would be nice.

I give Dawntrail MSQ 7/10. Not great but it's enjoyable enough and justified resubbing to this wonderful game.
