I feel like it's a little bit too late to course correct for 7.1. Unless they already suspected the bad reception and have already course corrected, which I highly doubt. So we should get ready for more poochie.

I'd be done with this game as far as MSQ goes. Skip cutscene skip cutscene. Pay attention to side story content that doesn't feature her.
Probably true. But the sooner we talk about it the earlier we can expect more significant course correction. Whatever they can reasonably do, should be done.
At this point i will settle for having Wuk Lamat around but at least being involved in plots that actually make sense and not crap like a village of craftsmen needing almost a hundred years and our intervention to figure out ventilation or a VRCHAT e-girl who wants to use souls to keep the avatars of her five toxic ex-boyfriends spawned in her e-rp realm.
They will not readjust the story.
Wuk Lamat is like honey, eating a bit is nice and sweet, eating a lot will just make you sick.
I did like the first bit of the story tho, but I do hope she's going to rule Tural in piece happily ever after!![]()
Wuk Lamat hears all, feels all, thinks all. She’ll be there, by your side, always. There is no hope, there is no escape. You MUST talk to Wuk Lamat.
Please, I don't care if she's still in the patches, just stop giving me no option to say no to her (used to be we'd often have a mean or ... choice of response to things. This expansion most options are just happily agree with her. The one ... I had was to refuse to use her pet name.). Stop making me blithely smile and nod at everything she suggests. Stop pairing me up with her when everyone splits up EVERY SINGLE TIME. Stop telling me I get to have a break and then having her barge in and ruin it. Please. It feels like torture, I don't want her running around with me on follow mode, I want to explore for myself. Let ME decide if I want to talk to her, don't force me to.
Unlike it seems a lot of people I sensed the Lyse-similarities right from the first time we saw her post-EW (now I didn't like Lyse when I played SB, but with some streamers getting aggressively anti her it made me warm to her a bit and realize she wasn't so bad. I mainly disliked that she got the position that M'Naago should have and just generally dislike overly naive characters, especially when put in positions of rulership). When I got to DT my suspicions were confirmed, and far worse than I'd imagined. It has taken me so long to get through this expansion so far because it is boring me to death and I don't want to skip or not read things in case I miss something. I keep feeling like I'm going to fall asleep, or wanting to do anything else.
I understand that some people like her character. But please, tone it down a lot. Give those of us who don't like her a chance to have some space and say no to her.
Let's solve what you think is bad story writing, with more bad story writing. A death like that is the equivalent of an actor in a TV show being fired, and the rest of the characters dealing with their awkward plot hole death.
Hard pass. Comments like this are proof no one here really knows what they want. The Wuk Haters are not bright, and are a stain on this fan base. Not denying there aren't real criticisms, but at this point it's a cult. Please stop.
It would make a bit of sense to have WL take the backstage for various reasons like grieving for her dad (and her new, somewhat of am friend, Sphene).
She had no time to grieve GJJ's death but instead charged head on to confront Zoraal Ja, hell they could even go as far as her going to mamook and continually fighting her father's shade to spend more time.
Having interactions that was supposed to be hers be replaced with Koana.
I don't know why but it feels like he would make much more sense with mending/bridging the relationship between Tural, Solution 9, and overseas affairs.
