I said it before. Ppl using the it's the vacation excuse are coping. A real vacation arc would be use going back to our solo adventure roots. Use adventuring not for the sake of others but for ourselves. To me that's where the game really fell flat. We are not adventuring for the sake of. We're still trying to stop world ending threats with scion and wuk. This really should have been Arr with better story and va. Oh well.

The only time I ever felt like I was actually about to start my vacation, was when we were tagging along with Erenville. And even that got abruptly cut short because we had to hunt down Wuk Lamat's bracelet. "Thought you were free of Poochie? Think again, sucker!"

I hope one day we'll learn how things behind the scenes went down, to let this script into production.

The creators of the game could make a statement regarding the extremely mixed reception, reviews, and everything in-between. At least an acknowledgement that they've heard what folks have to say and will respond at a later date would be nice. They don't even have to change anything per se - I'm gonna play the game regardless of story quality so long as the content is good. I won't be happy about it but I will. But some kind of "we hear you" would be nice, and ideally a "we hear you *and* this is what we plan to do about it" should be expected. We paid how much just for the expac in addition to the sub we pay every month? There should be high expectations of the dev team

Never in my wildest dreams had I considered EVER quitting FF14 but if becomes clear she's a mainstay character past Dawntrail and this current writing team doesn't have a massive boot planted in their butt (or get replaced) I think I would be done. I just pray that Yoshi-P cannot possibly be this stupid or blind.

I will accept that. But only on the condition that within the first 2 quests of 7.1 she finds Sphene's crown and gets Nidhogged by it somehow so she then goes away until we get the opportunity to beat the hell out of her.

I was ready to do this as soon as we landed in the new world. Or another direction, if the rest of the Scions were enthralled by Primal WL, then I'd beat them free of her grasp, and save the realm from her destruction. Even if I had to face the entire Source alone.

We get to be Alpha-ghostlike, and watch her fight, like spectator mode in Fall Guys x Oldschool-Prae turned up to 11.
