Steps:
1. send level 100 retainers of any class on quick ventures
2. when they return, typically 20-30% of them will bring back a single crystal instead of equipment.
3. previously in Endwalker the rate of single crystal rewards was closer to 1-2%
Suspected Conditions: Retainers are bringing back a much higher percentage of ilvl 660 gear in Dawntrail than they did 530 gear in Endwalker. This is great for gearing up jobs, but I suspect that a retainer bringing back duplicate unique items rewards a single crystal instead of a duplicate item.
Suggested Fix: Keep the higher rate of 660 items, it's super helpful for people with 1 or 2 retainers! Instead of lowering the rate, change the "filler" item (e.g. the single crystal reward) to something useful, maybe a new lottery box like the venture coffer or 3.0/4.0 GC coffers but with items inside that include the variety of things retainers typically bring back.
