Honestly, a lot of the Class and Job Quest NPCs could be repurposed for the MSQ now that they've stopped doing job quest series stuff. I find myself missing some of the job quests not for the existence of the quests themselves, but the characters within. It'd be nice if a few of the others got the Estinien treatment. I'd love to see Sidurgu, Oboro, and Jack again.

I would super duper love this. Honestly it was really cool to see rogue's guild characters show up in the MSQ. More of this would be awesome.

Yeah I have to agree. Estinien coming from the class jobs was amazing. It absolutely enhanced how I played through that expansion as the very class he came from even if I wasn't being directly referenced. Because even the established history we shared was enough to make that connection more powerful. They don't all have to be made scions, or whatever the new "group" we call ourselves is. But having them be people even those outside of their respective classes can meet would be nice. Maybe that'd also be one way we would be able to see Hilda come back. What a waste of a good character, just buried and forgotten.

You could place any one of these characters as the "Straight man" in a Hildebrand quest for all I care. They just deserve more screentime.

If you have not seen her since Heavensward, then you have probably skipped all sidequests and all seasonal events, because they have featured her pretty regularly since then.

Characters from optional quests might as well not even exist.

Just look how the 6.X patches had us bring a survivor from the Thirteenth to The Crystarium, and we were given no opportunity to even introduce her to the two other survivors of the Thirteenth over at the bar.
