I haven't gone looking for the Scions myself, but if they're absent then that is odd. The writers are usually quite attentive about putting them somewhere findable.

I expect that they are setting the original members up for retirement or long term downtime.

Y’shtola, Thancred and Uri will end up on the first in retirement.
