[Suggestion] FFXIV Alt-Friendliness

I wish the game was more alt friendly. I have a lala alt who is fun but all my glams and mogstation outfits are on my main so my lala just ends up unused.

With all respect, I played WoW for ten years, starting in Burning Crusade. None of the things I mentioned were inaccurate over that time period. Snark away, but you clearly didn't play WoW back in those days.

I started WoW in Burning Crusade. WoW functioning differently at a different time period is not mutually exclusive with me playing WoW in the past. That is bizarre logic and not your get out argument. Thanks for proving me right and stating you played WoW in the past, though, so I'll reiterate to not pass on inaccurate information. You know, if you had simply said "I still play WoW and it's changing" that would have been fine. You didn't. My reminisces are not "inaccurate". They may be out of date, but you didn't say anything like that in your initial post, did you?

All of that neat stuff announced at Blizzcon 2023 (https://blizzardwatch.com/2023/11/04...ts-war-within/) won't be available until the next expansion release, which is about a month away. It hasn't been a part of the game for the last 20 years. It's not a feature yet.

Now you could have said that the information I gave about what I "remembered" of WoW would no longer be accurate come the release of The War Within expansion [22 August 2024], but you didn't do that, did you?

Take your sermon to whichever games you enjoy these days. Clarity on how long I have played WoW for doesn't affect that I called you our on your inaccuracies. Your information would have still been inaccurate had I played WoW or not.

As some one who actually plays WoW, I can tell you warbanks were enabled yesterday. You do not need to wait for the expansion. So, once again, another outdated WoW info post from yourself. lmao.

A poll on tumblr (which I am acknowledging right now doesn't mean much, it's something I did for curiosity sake) got some pretty nice results. I didn't realize said poll would get that many responses, nor the trend would be that positive toward people who would either use alt-friendly options or would support it (the real kind folks!). I do think, bare minimum, all shop stuff should be shared. It's ridiculous that it isn't.

Sadly, there's no profit incentive to do any of these ideas, or any of, well, this. So, realistically, I doubt we'd see more of it, but continuing the discussion ups the chance of it at least being seen and considered. There's quite a few things that don't 'raise profits' I would assume that they have indeed done, or at least made the game better while not really being something 'totally necessary for money', so I can hope, at least.

With folks coming together to agree at how utterly ridiculous SE is with its greed... yeeeeah, it's not looking good, because all of what's being said is entirely true x.x

Love it I think it'd be awesome for roleplay. I know I get lectured that 'roleplayers don't run the game' and 'it isn't for us', but like... non-RPers can appreciate it too. I feel like it's not a lot to ask to have some more alt-friendliness, bare minimum much better shop stuff. Otherwise I'd be less likely to buy, say, an outfit since it's just single character. Or a hairstyle. Which should be shared across account.
