    Yep, I've never seen the Heavensward normal raid enrages, but I've definitely seen an SB one. One time half the party died in Halicarnassus back in Shadowbringers and there was no rezzers so we fought her with like, 4 people for funsies. And yeah...there is an enrage on that fight haha The enrage timer on those fights are almost impossible to see because it's so generous. So if they were to put an enrage in DT normals, I don't think most people would see it. I never even knew it existed in Stormblood and I did those fights when they were new.

    Even if they added dps checks in normal mode they would be so forgiving they may aswell not even have one.

    Sure. Not the worst idea I've seen on here. Will trim the player base down to what will hopefully be a bit more skilled overall (ie: not using ST on trash, doing proper rotations, etc.)

    It should at the very least filter out people who don't quite grasp the concept that standing in AoEs is bad and spend more time dead than alive.

    Yes, a very noisy and -PARTLY right- group said healing was too easy (and I feel that too, in EW was a walk in the park), but now I say something different.

    DPS IS TOO EASY, THEY DIE, fail every rotation and don't take any blame because there is not such a thing as a "dps check" in normal raid.

    This is UNFAIR, everyone should be part of the victory and we don't have to win just because the healer is perfect and we have 4 zombies raising over and over until the boss die.

    After some of the things I've witnessed DPS players doing in normal raids...yes. There should be an enrage on these bosses and people need to learn how to press their buttons more than once every 10~seconds.

    Do the Alexander Raids still have an enrage?
    I remember wiping to Brute Justice enrage way back in HW, but I haven't seen it in years so I wonder if its still there

    Enrages won't matter anyway without an ilvl sync, at least in the first and second tiers. Where's the enrage in M1 going to be when it gets burned down in 5 minutes and everyone has too much HP to die, on the off chance they still fail any mechanics?

    I don’t think hard enrages are a good thing for normal content but there should be 2 things in normal content

    1) there should be soft enrages, M4 actually does this pretty decently but this is something that should be totally normal
    2) there needs to be some way to curb the amount of rezzes that can be done in a fight, you shouldn’t be allowed to rezz bot a 7 minute fight into a 22 minute fight just because you have one semi competent rezzer and a whole bunch of people who have no idea what they are doing

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    Instead of adding a hard cap this could be done in a more dynamic way where the boss adjusts attacks based on the number of players standing. If there are only tanks and healers late in the fight the boss could start throwing out stack markers for example. Strictly limiting deaths like in Rathalos wasn't fun to me so I'd rather avoid it, just a personal thing.
