Suggestion: Vanity Pets

Wouldn't mind if we got some sort of pet we could have in our inn/housing and around our home town. Aslong as it stayed there If we are getting housing, a vanity pet would fit in with the rest of the stuff we put in our home, its a home after all, and alot of ppl have pets in them :-)
Having pets following you all the time would get old fast, as its done in other games, atleast thats how its been for me. And having tons of pets would for me, make it uninteresting in the end. So only a few rare once would be fun.

I am not sure if anyone posted this yet, but we are going to have pets. I am not sure how they will work but Yoshi P. said yes in this interview for the Japan Expo.

I am all for Vanity pets and if people don't want them they do not have to engage in the content.

Yes, solo content for vanity pets would be nice.

A variety of Vanity Pets and achievements for them.

I think it will bring more life to the game. The world seems stale and in need of movement. I wish the NPCs would walk around in a set pattern too. Would be nice to see some movement by them instead of just standing still all the time.

Perhaps you can get a pet through a series of quests with multiple paths, depending on the path you choose will determine your pets features.

I also think the option of having your pet follow you around and or staying in your Home and looking after your things would be fun as well. Like a guard pet hehe. Or perhaps a pet that makes your plants grow.
