    A small request with regards to healer mp management.

    Healer MP management is rather lacking for non-SGE jobs right now, in my opinion. In response to this I think some small few changes could be made to improve mp recovery across the board.

    AST: Make using cards restore a small amount of MP again. Nothing more than a few hundred, as AST already has the 2000 MP from draw.

    SCH: Make recitation compatible with seraphism spells, and dissipation restore a small amount of MP. Again, not a large amount but a nice boost from dissipation would make it a more attractive option outside of just spamming more energy drain casts.

    WHM: Either another stack of thin air, or vastly increase the amount of MP restored by assize. WHM has the largest MP cost ratio for their healing spells and two stacks of thin air doesn't really feel like enough in my opinion.

    These are just suggestions and I can't really say what the best choice would be but as a SGE main my only other thought is that it feels healer MP recovery is not in line with each other as SGE gets vastly more MP than any other healer over a long period of time.

    Past level 60 you only use MP for offensive spell and regen/Medica.... All your other healing skill have 0 MP cost (and if you really must use CureII, you can reduce it's MP cost to 0 every 60s)

    WHM has the strongest MP economy of the 4 healers so I’m not quite sure where you are getting this from

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    Yeah, AST and WHM are in a pretty good spot right now, I run 750 piety on WHM and 1100 on AST (not by choice) and have no issues on either. SCH is mostly okay at that same piety level, Sage is where i have huge issues with MP going down the drain and I wish I could fix it.

    All 4 Healers were already too MP positive/neutral even with 0 piety at the butt end of EW. Come DT today currently we have some piety through no choice of our own because lack of options. What makes people think they need to 'manage their MP' today? You have to have a party that can't see bads to save their own lives so many times or choosing your healing options very poorly to run out of MP nowadays...

    I actually like the idea of Dissipation having MP regen attached to it. It would make it a better recovery tool, especially after death

    How about we do the opposite and make MP actually relevant for a change?
    In any other MMO, oGCD would be the most MP intensive parts of our toolkit used sparingly for emergencies so let tack on some hefty MP costs to them, somewhere in the ballpark of 1k each. We'll make GCD heals free to compensate. Then, we add skills that allow free or discounted cost usage for our oGCD, such as Thin Air and Recitation. Finally, we make Piety actually useful and return it to increase our Max MP on top of the MP regen effect (and maybe some damage/healing bonus for shits and giggles).

    Let's go totally unhinged with it because I want to see the world burn.

    From my personal experience, pretty much the only way to run low on MP as a Healer, at least outside of dying and getting ressed, is that the lack of gameplay making you not pay attention to the game and forget to use Lucid Dreaming until way too late.
