I think what most people consider difficulty is a sliding scale - I don't find the content difficult, but it has a higher necessary skill floor than previous expansions. That's what people are referring to when calling it 'more difficult', but rather than talk about 'necessary skill floor' or whatever, it's easier to talk about it as 'difficulty'. Most people I've seen complaining about it being -too- difficult are playing with trusts where you can't just get a carry, and aren't able/willing to adapt to the new necessary skill floor, so they end up dying at bosses/solo duties and can't progress. I hear you in your other thread that NPCs typically do the mechanic perfectly, but a lot of these folk aren't looking at boss tells, so they probably aren't looking at NPC locations either.
