Usage of Phoenix Down

Can we finally allow the usage of Phoenix Down mid combat or find an alternative?

This is not a complaint about the increased combat difficulty, but it certainly resurrected (no pun intended) my old grievances with how Phoenix Down works in the game, it borderline serves no purpose as it is now.

With the increased difficulty not only the chances are higher that players are dying, we also got 2 new DPS job who don't have a resurrect.
With every DPS job who can't resurrect added to the game, our chances of having backup resurrects are getting lower and lower.

I think it would be a good addition if Tanks and DPS would get a role ability with like 120sec cooldown as Phoenix Down to salvage otherwise lost situations.

what normally happens. or do you now believe there should zero consequences at all?

if the healer dies, the group either wipes, or it doesnt. if it wipes, everyone learns something hopefully, and you try again.
