Do FFXIV employees actually read and respond to the forum questions and ideas?

I have been reading through a lot of the forum, and I have yet to see one post from someone who wasn't a player. So my first question is, is this forum actually moderated in some way to provide answers to questions that we have or do we have to wait and hope to get lucky that someone addresses in a way that it can be heard?

I ask this because so many people have complained about the Novice Network for years. I literally deal with harassment from a group of people who made it clear they don't like me and every time I try to answer a question to a sprout or respond to something, they will either be passive aggressive or come all out and attack me verbally which is cyber bullying. I have been ignoring them for a long time but enough is enough. I have over 2 years of documentation on this and to this day, the same people are in there causing trouble so the GMs have done nothing about it. Over 2 years of documented harassment and the GMs have done NOTHING. So either we can have permanent mentor kicking wars because people are tired of cyber bullying, or we can fix novice network.

It's time to take the ability away from mentors to kick other mentors. You can't have players policing the NN system because if obviously doesn't work. You have cyber bullying to the point that it is ruining the gameplay of paying customers and scaring away new customers. This is not how you want your customers to be greeted when they start playing the game!

The NN needs moderators, people who are charged with the sole job of making sure that NN functions properly and isn't run by groups of people threatening to kick you if you don't do as they say. They need to he held to very high standards and punished immediately if they themselves break any of the rules (including the extra rules set just for them).

So I am calling you out GMs and Devs, either you are against cyber bullying and are going to fix the NN system or you are going to continue to ignore the thousands of players who are complaining about a system that never worked from the start. Just look in your own forum and you will find tons of posts of people complaining and being ignored.

NN is the most peaceful in the first few days of the any patch dropping. These people are rarely in NN at these times and if they are, their friends are not with them at the same time so they can't cause problems. But in the last day or two, they are back in full force, online 24/7 in NN to the point that I wonder if they even sleep. I am not sure what changed, but it is obvious something is different from when patches happen. If anyone has any ideas on why, please let me know because I treasure the time we can focus on sprouts properly.

Nope, it seems they just ignore English and only respond to Japanese players.

there's at least 1 that checks in-game bugs, but they just move the thread without even responding

If you check the dev tracker link, they reply on the French and German forums too. It's just the English forums they ignore for some reason. I guess they like this place being a lawless cesspit.
