Ideally, we should have 1/job, plus extras for holiday garb or other looks. It's a great system, but hampered by the lack of plates.

We don't even have enough for one per job anymore. FFS its miserable.
Even sacrificing Sage, Scholar, Astro and merging them into the same set which is fine (for me at least, since I can't come up with a way to make them look unique outside of relying on their artifact gear). This still only leaves me at having just enough plates to cover all the jobs.
But then I get screwed out of my gathering "catch all" plate, which all my gatherers share. My crafters don't even get to use a plate I just do their outfit the old fashion way.
Since 20 plates isn't enough for 22 combat jobs, how many do you think we should get? At bare minimum we should get the 22 plates + 1 gathering + 1 crafting. Though ideally we should get a plate for each possible job. So that'd be 11+22=33. Therefore I say we should just get 40 plates. That would give us at least 7 plates to just use as we please not tied to a specific job. Maybe some casual town wear, or to use for absurd costumes or holiday stuff, or like a generic adventuring outfit like how I wanted to use the outfit we got for beating endwalker. 40 is the perfect number, and anytime a new job is added that patch should automatically come with a +1 per plate per new job added to the game so this can stop being an issue forever.
Or we could just do 50, and that would be a big enough cushion for a decade or two.

Also I'd greatly appreciate it, if the glamour dresser got another size boost, to go with the plates.
The armor set list gets some default amount when you first time unlock it by getting a second job, and from that forward, it gets one added when you unlock a new job. I could see this acceptable for glamour plates as well. Get some default amount, say 5 to 10, and then you unlock one more plate every time you unlock new job.
If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.
We need more glamour dresser space before more plates, please.
