I agree, at least that we could hide the tail. Sometimes when wearing some dresses or capes it just clips throught when you run and its distracting.

Some fashion already does that so why not (I remember one of Alphinaud's set did actually hide miqo's tails).

Changing au ra tails is a little more questionable on the immersion front, but they can add and remove scale patches from their faces, so maybe they’re just versatile like that.
